At the Jan 2015 quarterly board meeting, the board accepted the resignation of the Society Chirurgeon, and directed the President to handle the responsibilities of that office until further notice. The chirurgeon@sca.org email address is now forwarded to the President, and the president@sca.org email address has been added to the KC email list.

As of now, the Chirurgeonate structure still exists as it had before the January BoD meeting. The only change effective as of the Jan board meeting is the resignation of the Society Chirurgeon and transfer of responsibilities to the President. The Chirurgeon Committee’s recommendations would require Corpora changes, which have not yet been sent out for commentary by the membership.
