And the A&S Competition for this year has the theme of Heraldry.
Lady Ylaire Sainte Claire will be running an A&S competition at the upcoming Siege of Glengary. Read on for the details. An arts and sciences competition is to be held at the Siege of Glengary. The theme of the competition is heraldry. We will be choosing two winners, one each for populace choice and herald’s choice.  The populace choice will be decided in the usual manner of beads in a cup. All who come to view the entries will be provided with beads with which to cast their vote. The heralds choice will be chosen by the heralds based on use of heraldry and overall appearance.  While documentation is always appreciated, it is not a requirement for this competition.

This year’s Siege of Glengary will also be participating in the Paladin’s Pantry.
This year’s event is going to participate in a most worthy endeavor. Paladin ‘ s Pantry is coming to the Siege of Glengary. Read on for the details…. Have you ever found yourself with more to pack at the end of Siege then you did when you set out from home, only to find that your vehicle seems to have shrunk? Is your area full of boxes of cereal, pasta, jars of peanut butter, and jugs of bottled water you can’t remember buying? Never fear! The annual Paladin’s Pantry Food Drive is here to help by conveying your extra food and drink to local food banks. Just drop any unopened foodstuffs or beverages (no alcohol, please) at our handy collection point in the Dining Hall or call or text to 304-283-5640 to schedule a pick up, and one of our faithful minions will come by your camp to collect your much-appreciated largesse! In addition, this year the program will be collecting used tents, sleeping bags, cots, and rain gear, (especially those in child sizes), which will serve no one in a dumpster, to benefit the homeless. Exercise your charity, lighten your load, and help members of the community that has made us so welcome over the years! Please direct any questions or requests for donation pick-ups to Morien MacBain (Stephen Vandevander) at 304-283-5640.
