The Final Court of their Majesties Gareth and Juliana, Rex et Regina Æthelmearc, as reported from the scrolls of the court by Maighstir Uilliam MacantSaoir, Sycamore Herald, assisted by THL Sophie Davenport, Silver Buccle Herald, at the Coronation of Their Heirs.
Court was opened, and Their Majesties greeted the populace with words of continued service to the Kingdom through the reign of Their Heirs.

Their Majesties called for Missy of Sable Maul, Their Majesties had seen the good work of Missy as a waterbearer and camp cook. Their Majesties saw this as good service to the kingdom and Awarded her Arms.
Their Majesties called for Marcia of Sable Maul. Their Majesties had seen the good work of Marcia who illuminates scrolls, serves as a waterbearer and as the Queen’s hairstylist. Seeing this good work, she was Awarded Arms.
Their Majesties requested THL Raven Whitehart to their presence. Raven had served their Majesties as Head Retainer through their reign. For her work THL Raven was given an Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

Their Majesties requested THL McKenna Henderson known as Red to their presence. Red had served their Majesties as a retainer, toy and gift wrangler, royal houndsitter and assistant through their reign. For her work THL McKenna was given an Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

Their Majesties requested Lord Olaf Steinabrojter to their presence. Olaf had served Their Majesties as a retainer, guard, toy and gift wrangler, royal houndsitter and assistant through their reign. For his work Lord Olaf was given an Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

Their Majesties requested Lady Aine’ Ny Allane to their presence. Lady Aine had served as Deputy Head Retainer, pictorial recorder and blesser of hearts for Their Majesties Reign. For her work Lady Aine’ was given an Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

Their Majesties requested THL Oliver Sutton to their presence. Oliver had served as Captain of Her Majesty’s Guard through their reign, travelling many miles to protect the Queen. For his work THL Oliver was given an Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

Their Majesties requested Mistress Constance Glyn Dwr to their presence. Constance had served their Majesties as a Reign Coordinator through their reign. For her work Mistress Constance was given an Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

Their Majesties requested Maighstir Uilliam MacantSaoir known as Liam to
their presence. Liam had served their Majesties as Royal Chamberlain and
Assistant Herald through their reign. For his work Maighster Liam was given an
Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

Their Majesties then received Prince Sven at his request. Prince Sven came forth to insist upon his Noble and Just, Right to now serve as King of all Æthelmearc. Their Majesties stated that they had further business to finish and then they would call him forward.

Their Majesties then called forth the following gentles and awarded them Sigils of Their Reign.

Their Majesties called forth THL Gytha Oggsdottir. Gytha had been set to vigil for the Most Noble order of the Pelican and was called to give her answer to Their Majesties and the Order. Their Majesties Called forth the Most Noble Order of the Pelican.

Their Majesties heard testimony to Gytha’s works from; Duke Khalek as a Royal Peer, Duke Malcolm as a Member of the Chivalry, Master Fergus as a Master of Defense, Master Artemius as a Laurel and Mistress Rhiannon y Bwa as a representative of the Pelican.
Hearing this testimony, Their Majesties were inclined to continue and received Gytha’s oath in the language of her hands as well as the common tongue. Their Majesties then presented her with the medallions and cloak of her station and announced her as a Mistress of the Pelican.

Her Majesty asked for the presence of King Gareth. She spoke of the inspiration he had given her throughout the reign, His Majesty was then given the Golden Escarbuncle and named the Queen’s inspiration of the day.

Their Majesties then called forth Prince Sven. Prince Sven appeared without Princess Siobhán, Their Majesties inquired to her whereabouts, Prince Sven stated that she had been distracted by a bead merchant while entering the court.

Their Majesties heard the words of the great officers of the kingdom hailing Sven and Siobhán’s rights to the throne. They then heard testimony from emissaries from the kingdoms of Caid, Ansteorra, The East, and the Middle Kingdom as to their abilities to hold the thrones and Protect the kingdom.

Their Majesties were happy with these words and elected to proceed in the customs of the Kingdom of Æthelmearc
His Majesty removed the crown from Her Majesty’s head and thanked her for her inspiration and service to the kingdom.
Prince Sven was called forth. King Gareth removed the crown from his head and placed it upon the head of Prince Sven and named Sven, King of all Æthelmearc.

King Sven called forth Princess Siobhán, he then placed the crown upon her head naming her Queen of all Æthelmearc.

Gareth and Juliana were then excused from the court and exited to the words of a song from their home region. Their Final court had been closed.
