Betty Cooper, co-founder of Cooper’s Lake Campground, died Thursday, December 16 in Butler. She is predeceased by her husband, Mack, and son, Dave, both of who hosted the Pennsic War for decades.

Cooper’s Lake staff today released a poignant message on YouTube about about missing us all and the Pennsic War this year.
It also includes a tribute to longtime Pennsic staff member Viscount Sir Edward Zifran of Gendy (Fast Eddy), who died last week after a stroke.
