Here continues the Record of the Second Reign of King Gareth and Queen Juliana, Monarchs of Sylvan Æthelmearc, upon the Festival of the Passing of the Ice Dragon, April 13, AS 53, in Their Barony of the Rhydderich Hael; as reported by THL Arias Beltran del Valle, Jewel of Æthelmearc Herald, with the assistance of Countess Margerite Eisenwald, Baroness Ekaterina Volkova, and Lord Fiachna mac Cennetig.
In the morning:
Their Majesties invited Their cousins from Ealdormere, Evander and Marioun, to join them in their Court, then did they invite Their Excellencies of the Rhydderich Hael, Padraig and Juliana to join them as well.
Her Excellency Margerite Eisenwald asked for a moment of time to announce her intention to take Lord Sasson della Sancta Victoria as her protege, asking the populace to direct praise to him and concerns to her.
Their Majesties then gave leave to Their Cousins of Ealdormere to hold Their Court.

Their business having been concluded, Their Majesties then gave leave to their Excellencies Padraig and Juliana to hold their Court.

Their Majesties’ Court was then suspended.
In the afternoon, on the heavy lists:
Their Majesties called for Lord Bovi Davisson to attend Them. Word of his combat prowess had reached Their Majesties, especially when armed with glaives or fighting with two weapons. They had received counsel from others who has witnessed his skill, and so did They call to Their presence the Noble Order of the Gage, and add Bovi to that Order.
Their Court was once again suspended.
In the evening:
Their Majesties invited Their cousins Ozurr and Fortune, King and Queen of the East to join them in their Court, as did they then invite Their Excellencies of the Hael a second time.

Their Majesties first called for those gentles attending their first event to approach, and gifted each with a drinking vessel as a sign of welcome to the Society in hopes that they might return for many events to come.
Their Majesties then received the Oath of their Excellencies of the Endless Hills Verdi and Fiona, as they had been unable to greet Their Majesties on the occasion of Their Coronation the week prior.
The young lord Nicolas was then called to appear before Their Majesties. His hard work, willing spirit, and willingness to give of his time had reached Their ears, and so were They moved to add him to Their Order of the Silver Buccle. Their Majesties then invited all the children of the Kingdom present to come before Them. As is tradition, Their Majesties prepared them to go on a quest to find the carrier of the toy box. Needing a suitable bearer of the chest, They asked His Majesty Ozurr to take on that perilous duty. Upon accepting, His Majesty fled from the hall, with the children of the Kingdom close behind.

Their Excellencies Padraig and Juliana were once again granted leave by Their Majesties to hold their Court.
Their Majesties then invited Diane Brandrick Konoson to Their Court. She spoke of her spouse Master Brandrick who had recently passed, and returned some of his belongings, including his regalia of the Order of the Pelican, that they may find an appropriate home in the kingdom.

Asa Thorstæinsson was called to Their Majesties’ presence. For many decades had she labored to provide the kingdom and the Society as a whole with tasty feasts and sideboards, and then volunteering to help clean up after events are passed. Dirar of House Gray Wolf was summoned to appear next in Their Majesties’ presence. Dirar’s service in defense of the kingdom as a heavy fighter had been noted by others, but so to had his service retaining for their Excellencies of the Hael. Fiske Caulderson was next called to the Court. His helpful spirit and strong arm in hauling loaner gear are appreciated by those who see it, and his help at events was equally well-received. Their Majesties called Imanishi Genichi Ie’sida to appear before them. Genichi’s enthusiastic demeanor for the Society is such that those who see it are moved by the same spirit. Genichi is also willing to help with cleanup and setup for events and kitchens alike. For this work was Genichi Awarded Arms. Scroll by Ihtizaz al-Gani.

Isabelle de Clare was next called to the presence of Their Majesties. Stories of the service of Isabelle had run the gamut from filling roles as an officer, to coordinating portions of events, to retaining and acting as tollner. Mistress Roberta McMorland was next invited to attend Their Majesties. The Most Noble Order of the Laurel has claimed Mistress Roberta as a member of their order for some time, but the work she does to advance the Society and the activities of the Kingdom were equally important. Their Majesties deemed that work to worthy of the highest recognition of its own accord, and so did they invite Their Most Noble Order of the Pelican to Their Court, and bid them bear Mistress Roberta with them to consider elevation to their number. Next was Josefina Michele da Canal summoned to Their Majesties’ presence. Josefina’s work as a deputy exchequer and retainer, as well as her efforts as event staff were well known, and for this were Their Majesties moved to Award her Arms. But further had she become known for spreading her work across the land to two of the Kingdom’s Baronies. This moved Their Majesties further, and so did They add her to Their Order of the Keystone. Lady Ania Mhoireach was next called by Their Majesties to appear in Their Court. Word of Lady Ania’s proficiency with the rapier and long sword had reached the ears of Their Majesties, and in thanks for her faithful defense of Their Kingdom and its lands, They made her a member of Their Order of the Golden Alce. Their Majesties asked Companions of the Golden Alce to stand in their places, and suggested to the populace that they look at those not standing and recommend to them those who should join that Order.
Their Majesties next summoned Lord Abdullah al-Rashid to appear before them. They had seen Lord Abdullah fighting on the field, and shooting on the range, and in both cases did they note his commitment to producing Coptic and Persian kits with a level of authenticity not often seen. They found this worthy of recognition, and so did They add him to Their Order of the Golden Stirrup. Scroll by lady Sebastianne la Rousse.

Lord Davin ap Einion was called to Their Majesties’ Court next, where They spoke of his efforts across the Hael to support the group in many ways, from setting up demos to coordinating the set up of Ice Dragon to retaining and more. His work was deemed valuable indeed, and so did They create him a member of Their Order of the Keystone. Scroll by Baron Caleb Reynolds.

Lady Feya of the Rhydderich Hael was the next gentle summoned to appear. Their Majesties had noted her efforts in recent years working with the trollners of Ice Dragon in an effort to make the process simpler, and had heard of her enthusiastic spirit in the process, all of which did They believe to be worthy of further recognition. Their Majesties then called for Lady Natsu to present herself to Them. As Feya and Davin before her, Lady Natsu’s work in ensuring success for Ice Dragon had not gone unnoticed by Their Majesties. Neither had her efforts as feast coordinator at other events, or as head retainer for the baronage. To ensure that this work would go unnoticed by no one, Lady Natsu was added to Their Order of the Keystone. Scroll by Ihtizaz al-Gani.

Their Majesties also bid Companions of the Keystone present to stand amongst the populace and be recognized, asking that the populace note who was not standing who should be added to that number.
Lady Nycalse d’Ozier la Tailleresse was next called to appear in Court. As her name would suggest, Their Majesties had heard of her efforts working with costuming and embroidery to create wearable works of art in the Society. They found this work to be good indeed, and so did They name her to Their Order of the Sycamore. Scroll by THL Mairghread Stiobhard inghean ui Choinne.

Their Majesties similarly asked those companions of the Sycamore to stand and be recognized amongst the populace.
Their Majesties then summoned her Excellency Cordelia Colton to appear in Their presence. For many years had her Excellency labored to support the Barony of the Rhydderich Hael, and serving the Kingdom in many roles as well. But perhaps most importantly, she had worked to serve the children of the Kingdom, ensuring that they have activities to enjoy, and helping to keep them engaged and interested as they grow to take their future places in the Society. Their Majesties witnessed that work, and deemed it worthy of the highest of recognition, as did Their Most Noble Order of the Pelican, who were once again invited to Court, and asked to bear her Excellency with them to prepare her to consider elevation to sit amongst that august Order. Their Majesties then invited Maestro Filippo de Sancto Martino to join them in Their Court. Maestro Filippo had long been known for his service to the Kingdom, and known around the Sylvan lands for his joy at bringing joy to many others. Their Majesties and many others in the Kingdom know that where merriment and hospitality can be found, often so can Filippo be found as well. For this did They add him to Their Order of the Howling Wolf.

THL Hrolf a Fjarfelli was next summoned to appear before Them in Their Court. Her Majesty spoke of her joy at seeing his work in weaving around the Kingdom, and had followed his progress with great interest, as he made beautiful works to be seen by all. Amongst the populace who bore witness to his craft were companions of the Most Noble Order of the Laurel. They had found his work to be of the highest quality as well, and so did Their Majesties invite that Order to Their presence so that they may take him forth to consider elevation to their number. Before he could be borne away, Mistress Matilda Bosvyle begged a boon from Their Majesties, bringing words from his Lordship’s peer, Master Fridrikr, sent to the Court from distant corners of Drachenwald, congratulating him and bidding him to behave until he such time as he would take his place in that Order. Her Majesty then summoned Lord Dirar to appear once again. Word had reached her ear not just of his time spent on the field fighting, but his efforts to help others as they arrived by carrying belongings or working to assist in other needs. She found that selfless work inspiring, and so did She name him Her Inspiration for the day, and awarded him a Golden Escarbuncle.

With no further business before Them, Their Majesties’ Court was then closed.
